The year gone by has been an exciting year for all of us here at Beyond Dreams. FY 2022-23 opened many doors for us. We created and produced some exciting content across OTTs and television channels. In this year we produced as many as seven new projects - three webseries and four television fiction shows. The year ended with us bagging two new web series - a period thriller with Netflix and one romcom with Amazon Mini. Both these projects will go on floor in FY 2023-24. We have also ventured into sports content with an exclusive deal with Toyam Sports Limited to produce Season 2 of Warrior Hunt and multiple MMA IPs.

The year started with our first web series Tu Zakhm Hai, which went to production in April 2022 and started streaming on MX Player from October 15th. The series opened to great reception with over 3 million views in the first week itself. Tu Zakhm Hai debuted as one of the top five most viewed streamed shows/films across OTT platforms. We followed it up with another web series Dear Ishq on Disney+Hotstar. Based on the bestselling novel ‘Write Me A Love Story’ by Ravinder Singh Dear Ishq opened as the 3rd most viewed streamed shows/films. Arman Malik’s title song “Ishq Tu Mera” became an instant hit. In March 2023 we released the 2nd Season of Tu Zakhm Hai on MX Player after the successful run of Season 1. Season 2 of Tu Zakhm Hai also opened to encouraging audience reaction and the series garnered 3.2 Million views in the first week itself and became one of the top 5 most viewed series/films on OTT again.

This year we launched four important television shows across top broadcasting platforms as well. Channa Mereya on Star Bharat with Karan Wahi, Neeyati Fatnani and Puneet Issar was followed by Control Room on Dangal Channel and Tere Ishq Main Ghayal starring Karan Kundra, Reem Sheikh, Gashmeer Mahajani on Colors and VOOT. The year ended with the launch of another daily show Baazi Ishq Ki on India’s number 1 FTA channel Dangal TV and Dangal Play.

In March 2023 we signed a very significant deal with Mayapuri Group for their comics brand LOTPOT. Lotpot has been one of the most popular comics brands in India for over five decades and has been entertaining generations of Indians. Through this arrangement INSPIRE has got the exclusive rights to produce live action content of all their popular characters including Motu Patlu, Sheikh Chilli, Sampat Champat, KaKa Shree and Natkhat Neetu in television and OTTs. Motu Patlu has been ruling the rating charts and merchandising landscape in India for the last 11 years. We are expecting a good response from the three generations of audience who have grown either by reading the characters in comics or watching them in animation on tv and OTT.

During this year we collaborated with some of the most successful novelists, writers and filmmakers to create a strong pipeline of content for FY 2023-24. Rajat Arora, one of the most successful film writers of India who has created and written films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, The Dirty Picture, Taxi No 9211, Kick, has joined our content development to create three new IPs. We also acquired multiple book and life rights during the year. The titles include Shobha De’s bestselling ‘Sisters,’ Piyush Jha’s bestselling novel ‘Raakshas, India’s No 1 Serial Killer’ and bestselling novelist Durjoy Datta’s ‘Now That You’re Rich, Let's Get Married.’

This winter we will unveil our ambitious stock footage platform WorldArchives.in. World Archives is a stock digital asset platform for archival imagery, including digital photographs, video, music, VFX and multimedia products. Its products include news, sports, nature, lifestyle,entertainment and corporate content. The platform is scheduled to be launched by this winter with over one million royalty free assets. World Archives has been powered by the World’s leading technology brands like AWS, global leader in cloud computing and API, eMAM, digital asset management company and NPAW, global leader in video analytics solution.
