Beyond Dreams was founded by media veteran Yash A Patnaik and Mamta Yash Patnaik in 2007 to produce content across various media and formats. Since then the company has created over 50 original IPs and produced over 10,000 hours of popular content (television series, web series, documentaries and feature films). During this period Beyond Dreams has partnered with leading platforms and broadcasters like Disney+Hotstar, Netflix, Amazon Mini, Sony LIV, MX Player, VOOT, Star Plus, Colors, Sont, Zee, Disney, Cartoon Network, Dangal, Sun Network.
In 2018 Beyond Dreams forayed into sports with Men’s World Cup Hockey by partnering with Hockey India to produce content and events around the global sporting extravaganza. This was produced under the newly constituted company Influence Beyond. The company also managed the entire digital marketing and campaging of the World Cup and generated over a billion views. In 2023 the company partnered with Toyam Sports Limited to popularise Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in India. As part of the initiative the company is producing multiple MMA IPs including reality show Kumite 1 Warrior Hunt, National MMA Ametuer Championship and Pro MMA Fight Nights across India
In 2012, INSPIRE Films Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Beyond Dreams was launched to focus on content which was followed by two more subsidiaries Proto and Influence Beyond for the company’s other verticals. Since its inception INSPIRE has produced 35 original IPs including seven produced last year itself. In FY 2023-24 Inspire is scheduled to produce some interesting projects for Netflix, Amazon and Disney apart from the regular TV projects.
